Welding and Fabrication 101 – Saturday
What You Will Learn
The introductory class covers the essential steps for successful welding and fabrication. You will learn:
Safety
Learn important safety practices, setup steps, and proper use of protective gear.
Equipment Selection and Prep
Understand how to choose the right tools and prepare them correctly for use.
Material Selection and Prep
Explore different types of metals, how to prepare them, and when to use each one.
Engineering and Design Basics
Learn simple design principles that help you create stronger and longer-lasting parts.
Hands-On Welding
Begin welding with guided instruction to build foundational skills and greater confidence.
No previous experience is required. Students need an auto-dimming welding helmet and gloves.
